Comments

Currently visitors are not able to leave comments on specific posts but when this option is enabled, when visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Cookies

If (when comments are enabled) you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

This third party site will use cookies to see which site sent you to them (ie. our site) and we will receive a small commission at no extra cost to you, should you decide to go on and purchase through them. Your contract will be 100% with the company you purchase products and services through and not with Travelling Ruff.

We only make recommendations and therefore hold no liability at all for any services and products being offered by external third-party companies/sites. Once you have left our site and are on the third party site, their own privacy policy and cookie policy will be in place.

We use analytics to help improve our site by learning where our users are coming from and how they interact with our site. We use Google Analytics for this process and do not hold or receive any personal data, only the device type used (mobile, desktop, tablet) and country of origin.
